Engineering And Maintenance Manager

Are you looking for a challenging interim role in maintenance & engineering? I am searching for an experienced highly hands-on Maintenance Manager (m/f/d) to support my client in optimizing and restructuring their maintenance processes. In this role, you will play a key role in technical leadership, process improvement, and team management.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a small maintenance team (4 technicians)
• Implementing and executing a preventive maintenance program
• Performing technical work (30–50% of the time)
• Leading, coaching, and developing technicians
• Supporting technical projects, e.g., installation of a new packaging line
• Optimizing the shift system from 5 to 6 days (including Sunday maintenance)
• Ensuring a smooth transition and training of a newly hired permanent Maintenance Manager in the last 2 months

Qualifications:

• Intensive experience in industrial maintenance
• In-depth hands-on mentality and willingness to actively participate in technical work
• Experience in maintenance planning & preventive maintenance
• Leadership experience in small teams, including coaching & change management
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing shift model
• Fluent in French & English
