About the Role: Are you ready to be part of a multidisciplinary team that will support the implementation of a PI system in a major extension project at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site In Belgium? Join us as a Senior AVEVA PI Engineer and help lay the foundations of our data collection strategy. Proficiency in French is required for this role.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and Implement Data Acquisition Strategies: Capture real-time manufacturing data from various sources, including process equipment, instruments, IoT, and control systems (MES, BMS, DCS, OEM, etc.).
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Define data requirements and implement solutions to address business needs.
• Ensure Data Integrity and Consistency: Implement data quality control measures and monitor data validation processes.
• Manage System Upgrades and Performance: Work within the Automation Infra team to handle system upgrades, patches, and performance optimizations for the OSIsoft PI system.
• Provide Technical Support: Assist end-users with data acquisition tools, OSIsoft PI system functionalities, and data visualization tools.
• Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to data engineering and manufacturing systems.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data management processes, system performance, and user experience.

What You Will Bring:

• Advanced experience with the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI system, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including batch processing, equipment automation, and data acquisition systems.
• Proficiency in data engineering concepts, data integration, and data management best practices.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP) related to data integrity and computerized systems validation.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and scripting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in French is required
