Role Description
To support our growth and strengthen our team we are currently looking for a Sales Channel Manager for business development in diverse sales channels. Our market is imaging in radiology.
You will have the responsibility of promoting Qaelum’s software solutions in the assigned regions (excl. US). Therefore, you will develop, prepare and execute an appropriate business strategy in the different countries, ensure a sustainable development of the business, and maximize the market reach for Qaelum’s product portfolio. Experience with most of the following is a must:
- You will develop strong relationships with channel partners to develop business and generate leads and projects (OEMs, PACS suppliers, distributors, etc.). We expect you to identify reference sites.
- You are responsible for the analysis of your assigned markets and their local competition by collecting market intelligence from the customer community and feed it back to our research and development crew.
- You are a sales channel manager for multiple regions, work closely together with existing channel partners, and expand the distribution network with new partners.
- You are tasked with identifying and acquiring new and suitable partners.
- You will manage and build our relationships for key opinion leaders in Belgian hospitals to ensure customer satisfaction. You will cooperate with healthcare professionals to ensure long-term relationships.
- You are responsible for the creation, negotiation and conclusion of cooperation contracts and the argumentation of business cases together with the creation and decision making on business forecasts.
- You will identify the necessary local requirements and required certifications as well as helping with registration processes.
Qualifications
You have a medical or technical sciences (physicist, engineer, etc.) background. Knowledge in radiology is a must.
- You are a hunter and a closer, with a business attitude and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You can perform basic functionality demonstrations of the products, and fluently tailor your pitch to the needs of the audience.
- You are an experienced sales person, who has 10+ years of experience in the acquisition of deals and partners in the IT healthcare industry.
- You are a problem solver with a “can-do” attitude and strong commercial skills. You can work, organize and plan independently. You are interested in cloud solutions and have knowledge of selling software platforms.
- You love technology and are not afraid of interacting with it. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is a given while other IT skills are a great asset.
- You are flexible for professional availability and you like to travel.
- You are stress resistant and a team-player.
- You speak English proficiently. Dutch/French is a big surplus.
