As our DevOps and SRE you will create the automated environment to support our rapidly expanding edge, fog and cloud systems to support our distributed automation and swarming technology. You love measuring the process and reporting it. You believe that systems operation is a software problem. You are either a software engineer with a good IT administration background or a highly skilled system administrator with knowledge of coding and automation. You will spend maximum % of your time on ‘ops’ related work (and try lowering that with automation) and >% on developing the next level of automation, self-healing and scaling infrastructure.

Jouw profiel Key responsibilities

Build and maintain self-service tools for our software team so they can focus on feature development. Eg. Automatic provisioning of test environments, automated testing & releasing, …

Work closely with the project manager and product engineers to ensure designed solution responds to requirements such as availability, performance, security and maintainability

Create and maintain automated solutions for operational aspects such as monitoring, performance and capacity planning, and disaster response

Balance the risk of system unavailability with rapid innovation and efficient service operations

Experience & skills we are looking for

A (recent) bachelor’s degree in software development or IT domain or equal by experience

DevOps and SRE mindset automating your way out of it

Experience with programming and/or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Javascript/TypeScript, C# and C++

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS & Google Cloud, oVirt

Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Docker and/or Ansible

Experience with network protocols, security and firewalls

Experience with Linux environments

A team player with a proactive mindset

Ability to operate in a high-growth, high-velocity organization

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills, inigence, and initiative

Always eager to learn and develop yourself further
