The Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a <> to take a strategic role in leading geotechnical proposals and driving business growth across key markets, primarily focused on Continental Europe and APAC regions. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to progress their career in the offshore energy sector and will provide an excellent opportunity to develop business development and/or commercial capabilities, whilst also leveraging technical expertise and providing technical input into offshore geotechnical projects to support successful execution and ensure high-value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of geotechnical proposals, ensuring compelling and competitive submissions
• Support client relationships, identifying new opportunities and expanding our market presence
• Work closely with internal teams (geotechnical, geophysics, geology, GIS) to develop advanced & competitive solutions, products and offers to market.
• Engage in strategic business development initiatives, supporting senior management in growth plans
• Act as a mentor to junior engineers and project teams, providing both commercial and technical guidance
• Lead cost estimates, contract reviews, risk assessments, and to secure new projects

Who We’re Looking For

• Significant experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, and/or offshore construction
• Technical background in geotechnical engineering, with a demonstrated interest or experience supporting business development or proposal activities.
• Proven commercial awareness, including contract negotiation and client engagement
• Experience in project management or leading technical teams
• Flexibility to travel as required for proposals, industry events and client meetings
