RISK SPECIALIST

As part of the Risk team, you will take the lead in implementing the prioritized items of the Risk

Management Framework. The focus will be on the RV management part where you are responsible for

preparing RV setting and RV Committee, creating and maintaining the required internal controls and

setup internal processes with other departments regarding RV management.

The second focus point is set on implementing the Operational Risk Management framework. You are

responsible for identification, measurement and reporting on operational risks, training the internal

organization and advising in process improvement.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities :

• Take the lead in Residual Value (RV) Management by preparing the RV committee, setup and

maintain the necessary internal controls and processes regarding RV management throughout the organization.

• Implement the Operational Risk Management framework: Assess, measure, challenge and

monitor operational risks, train the organization on the management of this risk and advice on policy, actions on each operational risk type.

• Setup and implement a risk control self-assessment in alignment with the RCSA of the Region.
• Support the continuing embedding of the Risk Management Framework within TFS Belgium.
• Provide internal risk management trainings and actions to increase risk awareness
• Plan and lead the review of (risk management) policies and procedures
• Internal control awareness and process improvements

We expect from you:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in a comparable role in the financial services sector.
• Expertise areas: RV Risk Management and operational risk management
• Analytical mindset and able to focus on data analytics and interpretation in terms of RV

Management

• Masters degree, for example in business management, economics, engineering or

sciences

• Professional knowledge of English
• Stakeholder management and strong communication skills
• Personal qualities include pro-activity, creativity, perseverance, flexibility diplomacy

and pragmatism

• Proven ability to think and work independently
• Good Microsoft Office skills, mainly Excel driven.
