Azure Data Solution Architect

What will your future job look like?

• You determine the architecture and set up secure and scalable Data Platforms using Azure.
• You evaluate data requirements together with the data engineering and look for technological solutions that fit into the platform architecture.
• You design and implement data models and structures.
• You work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders, using technical and business communication skills.
• You provide support to development teams and coach your colleagues.

Who are you?

• Degree(s) and certificate(s)
• A relevant university degree or a bachelor’s degree and +3 years of experience
• Microsoft certification is a plus:
• DP600- Microsoft Fabric
• AZ-700 – Designing and implementing Microsoft Azure
• AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• …

Technical proficiencies

• Solution architecture principles in a Data & Analytics context
• Azure architecture, infrastructure services and networking
• Experience with Azure Analytical components and databases like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, SQL Server, …
• Familiar with concepts and components such as VPNs, Private Endpoints, Virtual networks, Firewall, multi-region network, …
• Aware of best-practices in data modeling, data warehousing, data lake and lake house concepts and ETL-implementation processes
• CI/CD concepts

You are recognized for

• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and customers to deliver successful and impactful solutions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse teams, articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and adapt to changing business needs
• Speaking English and Dutch or French fluently.
• Your current residence is in Belgium
