UX Researcher
Hybrid role based in Braine-l'Alleud
3 month mission initially - High possibility of extension
Our client is a global leader in technologies and products for the mobility and automotive sector. They are seeking a UX Researcher to join their collaborative innovation team. In this role, you’ll be embedded within a multidisciplinary environment, playing a key role in shaping digital and physical experiences from a user-centered perspective. You'll lead qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user insights that directly influence product direction.
Day-to-day Responsibilities and Experience
• Conduct ethnographic research, interviews, A/B testing, usability testing, video analysis, and user observations
• Define and map user journeys with attention to behavioural patterns and pain points
• Apply deep knowledge of human-factor methodologies to uncover actionable insights
• Drive the user-centered design process across various project phases
• Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Service Designers, and Product Owners to co-create and refine user-centric solutions
• Operate with a start-up mindset, proactive, autonomous, agile, and driven by innovation
• Communicate findings effectively using tools like Miro and Microsoft Office
Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UX Research
• Strong practical experience valued over academic qualifications
• Solid foundation in user-centered design, interaction design, or cognitive ergonomics
• Fluent in English and French
• Proven ability to lead user testing and observation initiatives based on deep product understanding
• Driving license essential
Bonus Skills
• Experience or interest in the automotive industry
• Academic background in psychology or cognitive ergonomics
• Skilled in conducting literature reviews to inform research with existing human-factor insights
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of product context to recommend tailored testing strategies
• Fluent Dutch
