Validation Specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting role has arisen for an SME Cleaning Validation expert to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium. As the SME Cleaning Validation, you will be responsible for ensuring the validation of cleaning processes for production equipment within the Aseptic & Bioprocess Business Unit.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the SME Cleaning Validation will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Act as the validation expert and leader for a cleaning validation project related to production equipment.

2. Define and propose the validation strategy in agreement with the project team, including conducting quality risk assessments, writing validation plans, and coordinating execution.

3. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, standards, and internal procedures.

4. Develop partnerships with internal clients, internal support services, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the SME Cleaning Validation we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in cleaning validation within a bioprocess or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP regulations and quality assurance practices.
