About the Project:
Join one of the largest industrial construction projects currently underway in Europe — a state-of-the-art ethylene production facility set to be operational by 2026. The site is managed by a combination of EPCM contractors and the Owner’s construction management team, which oversees all critical disciplines including SHE, Procurement, HR, Project Controls, and Engineering Support.
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Support Administrator to provide daily operational and administrative assistance to the Procurement team, with a strong focus on the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process. This role will be instrumental in supporting the project delivery team and ensuring smooth procurement operations throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders and change orders in SAP
- Monitor delivery timelines and perform desk expediting
- Handle invoice control and resolve discrepancies
- Support operational procurement of goods and services
- Provide administrative support to the procurement and back-office team
- Facilitate and enhance the P2P process within SAP
- Assist with the roll-out of new procurement workflows and tools
- Support contracts and procurement activities as required
- Act as backup for other Procurement Support and SAP Admin roles
- Handle vendor creation and validate vendor information
- Maintain and update vendor master data in SAP
Your Profile:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the (petro)chemical or industrial sector
- Solid experience and confidence using SAP, especially within P2P processes
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
- Team player with a flexible and proactive mindset
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities
- Able to manage priorities effectively and work independently when needed
