IT Support Engineer
Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in Brussels? My client, a highly respected government body known for its commitment to excellence and innovation, is looking for a skilled IT professional to join their team on an initial 1-year contract, with hybrid working arrangements.
Your Role:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing top-tier technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, and resolving user issues efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Incident and problem management – acting as a service desk agent, incident analyst, and problem analyst
- First and second-line IT support – offering both remote and on-site assistance
- Tracking and documentation – recording incidents, problems, and requests while maintaining operational procedures
- System reconfiguration & installations – assisting with PC setups and troubleshooting
- Application testing & administration – ensuring systems run smoothly and liaising with administrators
- Knowledge sharing – drafting technical content for the internal knowledge base
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of IT Support experience
- Fluency in English & French (both written and spoken)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Broad IT knowledge and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and Windows environments
- Understanding of mobile platforms and core mobile applications
- ITIL V4 Foundation Certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months)
