Finance Operations Expert

We are seeking a Finance Operations Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and optimization of integrated tooling, ensuring overall alignment of processes and positions between entities and regulatory bodies. Additionally, you will serve as first-line support and backup for our accounting team.

WorxInvest’s investment approach is twofold. Mainly through and together with Gimv, WorxInvest engages in direct (co-)investments, taking on strategic shareholder positions as an active anchor investor in both private and public companies across Europe. As the current majority shareholder of SD Worx and reference shareholder of Gimv, WorxInvest actively supports the international expansion of its portfolio companies. Through its fund-of-funds WorxInvest Horizon I, WorxInvest has raised additional capital to build a diversified portfolio of top-performing buyout and growth funds operating across Europe and North America.

Other alternative asset classes explored by WorxInvest include real estate and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage and optimize integrated financial tools.
• Follow-up on A/R and A/P processes and positions
• Provide backup support for accounting functions.
• Process owner regarding various legal reportings within the group (NBB, FSMA, RSZ,…)
• Process owner regarding internal reportings
• Collaborate with different departments to streamline financial operations.

Profile 

You have a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or in a related field with at least 4 years of proven experience within accounting processes and a good understanding of IFRS.

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SAP(4Hana) is considered as an important asset.  

You have good communication skills in Dutch and English and work collaboratively in a team environment.
