We are currently looking for a System Engineer to join one of its key clients — a major industrial group specializing in the design, development, and maintenance of advanced technological equipment in the fields of energy, industry, environment, and sustainable mobility.

🎯 Your Mission

As a System Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, ensuring robust system architecture, seamless integration, and full alignment with product requirements and stakeholder expectations.

You will lead system-level design, verification, and validation for cutting-edge electro-mechanical and control solutions, primarily within demanding sectors such as chemicals and Oil & Gas. A solid understanding of hydrogen-related processes and technologies is expected, as our projects increasingly involve hydrogen as a critical component.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to define the technical scope, system architecture, and deliverables of NPI projects.
• Author the Product Design Specification (PDS) and ensure its proper breakdown across sub-systems and modules.
• Coordinate system-level test, verification, and validation activities with the compliance and validation engineers.
• Contribute to Design to Cost initiatives during early design phases.
• Lead the integration of technical systems, ensuring overall consistency and quality.
• Provide regular technical status updates, including risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Approve and verify the results of system-level testing and validation activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams: project managers, validation, quality, production, and supply chain.

👥 Your Team & Environment

You will join a multidisciplinary and agile engineering team based in Seraing (Liège), reporting to the Chief Engineer. You’ll collaborate with various experts and leaders across the organization to deliver reliable and innovative industrial solutions.

🧠 Your Profile

• Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in system engineering, specification, and integration.
• Proven success in industrial sectors such as chemicals or Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of hydrogen technologies and gas-handling systems required.

🔬 Technical Skills

• IBM DOORS (requirements management)
• IBM Rhapsody (systems modeling)
• Microsoft Excel (advanced analysis and reporting)
• Solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems and control architectures.

🌍 Languages

• English: Full professional proficiency (mandatory)
• French: Nice to have
