Technical Data Management – Hybrid Contract Opportunity (Belgium)

We are currently seeking a Technical Data Management Consultant for a full-time, hybrid contract role supporting a major player in the European energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial and technical oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects driving the green energy transition.

The role:

You’ll be supporting the Asset Financial Management team, focusing on accurate and compliant tracking of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, fixed asset lifecycle events, and financial data alignment with technical infrastructure.

Contract details:

• Location: Hybrid (on-site presence in the Brussels area required)
• Work regime: Full-time
• Duration: Contract until 31.12.25 initially

Key responsibilities:

• Validate and analyse project allocation structures (WBS) using SAP Budget Builder and SAP PS
• Manage daily asset events (commissioning, decommissioning, transfers, sales) using SAP FI-AA and a custom-built internal tool
• Maintain and update master data and documentation for the asset register
• Support technical-financial reporting, compliance processes, and data quality initiatives

Ideal profile:

• Experience in fixed asset and/or technical master data management in SAP
• Solid knowledge of SAP PS and/or FI-AA modules
• Affinity with or exposure to technical infrastructure projects (energy sector experience is a plus)
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, and solution-focused with excellent team collaboration skills
