Hardware project coordinator

We are looking for an experienced hardware project coordinator to join our engineering team. You will manage and steer a dynamic & multidisciplinary group of mechanical, hardware and firmware engineers.

Responsibilities:

• You assist the sales team with your technical expertise throughout the presales process
• You validate the feasibility of a project and draw up technical and technological product architectures
• You make budget proposals for engineering projects
• You draw up a weekly project planning and assign project resources based on skillset and availability
• You kick-off projects and assure that projects get delivered on time
• You guard over the different engineering projects taking agile project management principles into account
• You keep track on scope, cost, time and quality
• You inform the stakeholders and escalate when needed
• You are responsible for the daily management of you team
• You inspire your team, know their needs and actively guide them in their development path
• You define, implement and maintain the hardware processes
• You validate technical documentation, conduct hardware design reviews,...
• You keep track of scientific researches, trending technologies, regulatory changes,... that could be of interest for your team

Qualifications:

You hold a master’s degree in electronics and have minimum 7 years professional experience as hardware project coordinator or similar role. Next to Dutch you have a fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written).

• You are able to manage multiple projects and can easily switch context
• You are an excellent communicator and you can easily translate the technical vocabulary for non-technical persons
• You are stress resistant and have a strong sense of responsibility
• You foster collaboration and are able to lift your team to a higher level

This is a permanent position (fulltime), located in Kortrijk (Belgium).
