Senior Accountant/Controller

Our client, a major player financial company based in Brussels, is looking for a Senior Accountant/Controller to join their team of seven and report to the Financial Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full A to Z accounting for multiple holding companies (Belgian & international entities).
• Financial reporting: monthly estimates, trial balance reconciliations, and year-end closings.
• Cash flow & treasury management, transfer pricing calculations, and budget monitoring.
• Tax & compliance: VAT filings, tax returns, audit reporting, and statutory accounts.
• Participation in consolidation (BEGaap) and external reporting (BNB).
• Ad-hoc financial projects and business controlling tasks.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5+ years of experience (financial services a plus).
• Strong A-Z accounting knowledge and business controlling mindset.
• Experience with tax, VAT, and management reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, with strong knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented team player.
