As AnalytiChem Group experiences exponential growth, we are looking for a Junior Buyer to strengthen our procurement team in Belgium.

Job Description

As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of raw materials, packaging, and other essential items required for the optimal functioning of our company. You will work closely with various departments such as production, logistics, and sales to ensure an efficient and reliable supply chain.

- Request and review price quotes and delivery times from various suppliers.

- Prepare, send, and follow up on purchase orders.

- Collaborate actively with internal departments such as the lab, production, logistics, and sales to ensure a smooth sales cycle.

- Maintain and update data in our central system.

- Support the overall purchasing package, including raw materials, packaging, and indirect purchases.

Profile

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Affinity for sciences.

- Experience in the chemical industry is a plus.

- Structured and result-oriented work approach.

- Independent, reliable, and proactive in taking initiative.

- Strong cost awareness and excellent negotiation skills.

- Fluent in both Dutch and English.

- Proficient in data processing and MS Office.
