Job Title: IT Technical Support Specialist

Role Overview:
The IT Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end-user ICT assets. This includes managing hardware imaging, deployments, stock management, repairs, and providing general technical support for all devices used at the company. The specialist will also assist in Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM), Change Management, and Problem Management under the guidance of the Section Head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second level support for end-user ICT assets.
- Conduct equipment testing, documenting serviceability status.
- Perform staging and deployment of end-user devices using Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) and associated tools.
- Update and manage inventory databases.
- Handle the enrollment or handout of staged devices to end-users.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues in a systematic manner.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of implemented technologies.
- Participate in weekly sprint planning and execution, ensuring agreed-upon activities are completed within each sprint.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years of related experience, or secondary education with 4 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in IT administration tools (e.g., Microsoft Configuration Manager).
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common applications such as MS Office and Adobe.
- Experience with IT hardware and auxiliary computer equipment.
- Broad understanding of computer network technology in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) Certification.
- ITIL Certification in Service Operations.
- Previous experience working in an international environment with both military and civilian personnel.
