Development Tech Lead


About the Role - We are looking for a Development Tech Lead who will support the development teams, in particular the developers, with the aim of increasing the maturity and efficiency of the entire build factory.


About the Company - Within the Change department of the Technology Department, within this financial institution, we have 4 development teams aligned with the company's businesses, each made up of an architect, business analysts, functional analysts, developers, one or more testers and a scrum master, as well as a support team made up of 3 sub-teams (middleware, publishing, Robotic Process Automation). We work with different technologies, mainly cobol and linc (Cobol generator) as well as VB6 for old legacy applications, C#/.Net for the back end and Outsystems (low code) for the front end, as well as Microsoft CRM Dynamics. We use Microsoft Azure Devops as an application lifecycle management tool. We use the Prince2 methodology for the Project Life Cycle (PLC) and Agile (adapted from the Nexus framework) for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Promote Agile development practices and modern object-oriented programming techniques (patterns, etc.) wherever possible. Promote LowCode best practices for our Low code frameworks.

  • Promoting secure coding techniques in the various TD-Change teams.
  • Development frameworks
  • Promote the use of development accelerator tools, which are becoming increasingly common in development frameworks, particularly AI tools.
  • APIM and Cloud applications
  • Promote and facilitate the use of the API gateway in developments and prepare teams for cloud developments.
  • Developer community
  • Animate the developer community.

Specific experience and knowledge


  • 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • or at least 10 years' experience as an Expert Developer with proven practice in the areas covered by the responsibilities.
  • In-depth experience of Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines

Professional Training & Certificates

  • University level
  • Certifications in areas of responsibility are an advantage.
