Senior Business Manager

In order to accelerate the growth of our consulting activities in the Belgian market, Avertim is currently seeking a Senior Business Manager to lead and expand our consulting teams.

As Senior Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and development. You will manage a team of Business Managers and consultants, acting as a trusted partner to our clients and ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Project and Contract Management: Oversee multiple high-impact projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction. Provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with client goals.
• Business Development: Develop and expand consulting activities and offerings in alignment with Avertim’s key business outcomes: performance, innovation, and compliance. Identify new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of consultants. Drive career and personal development initiatives in collaboration with Avertim’s HR department to ensure continuous growth and engagement of your team.

Your Profile:

• Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Business, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience with experience in management, preferably within consulting. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Strong entrepreneurial spirit with exceptional leadership capabilities. Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
• Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
• Resilience and Ambition: High levels of resilience, ambition, and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve outstanding results.
