Group Internal Auditor – Build and Lead the Internal Audit Function
Are you an experienced internal auditor looking for a unique opportunity to shape an international audit function from the ground up? Do you have the expertise to assess financial processes, and to drive internal controls, compliance, and risk management across a fast-growing, global organization?
CrossInternational has been engaged to find a Group Internal Auditor for BioFirst Group. As a Group Internal Auditor you document and implement internal control systems, to recommend improvements and to assure compliance and consistency throughout the group by sharing best practices over the different legal entities and subsidiaries worldwide (55).
This is not ‘a policing role’ - the focus is on getting the initial groundwork done and on advising, supporting finance teams, sharing expertise and improving processes to enhance governance and risk management. Reporting to the Audit & Risk Committee, you will play a key role in ensuring best practices across BioFirst’s global operations. The position is based at their global headquarters in Westerlo, Belgium, with an estimated 30% international travel (a lot can be done remotely). We are looking for someone to join BioFirst on payroll.
