Responsibilities
As Consolidation Manager, you will dive into Colruyt Group's financial data, right at the financial heart of the Belgian multinational.
With activities in food retail B2C and B2B, Non-Food, Health, Energy and Real Estate, among others, Colruyt Group combines a large number of entities.
You work together in a team of consolidation and reporting analysts:
- You are responsible for planning, preparing and coordinating the consolidated financial statements for both internal (management, audit committee and Board of Directors) and external (press release and annual report) users.
- From your senior role, you handle the more complex components and transactions of the consolidation.
- You regularly analyse the consolidation and reporting process with a critical eye and try to optimise it further.
- You also prepare the IFRS financial statements while offering support and advice on IFRS to your colleagues.
- You are point of contact for the external auditor in the context of the consolidated financial statements.
- You work closely with our CFO and management of the various departments to gather the necessary financial information and insights.
You work in Halle and can work from home up to two days a week or in one of our regional offices (Haasrode, Zwijnaarde, etc.).
Profile
- Knowledge and experience: You have a master's degree in economics or finance with at least 5 years' experience in consolidation. Extensive knowledge of IFRS is a must.
- Analytical: You quickly gain insight into complex transactions.
- Communicative: You work with many different partners, you succeed in explaining complex matters clearly.
- Language skills: You are fluent in Dutch to communicate smoothly with your immediate colleagues.
