Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our sales team, providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process, and ensuring successful implementation and integration of our security solutions for our clients. You’ll have the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our security solutions.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and requirements.
- Utilize technical expertise to design and propose IT security solutions that meet customer objectives.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their network architecture and security requirements.
- Design comprehensive and effective IT security solutions tailored to each customer's unique needs and environment.
Implementation and Post-Sales Support:
- Lead the implementation and deployment of IT security solutions, ensuring smooth integration with the customer's existing infrastructure.
- Configure and optimize IT security solutions to maximize effectiveness and performance.
- Offer ongoing support and assistance to customers post-implementation, including troubleshooting, configuration adjustments, and performance optimization.
- Be an escalation point for colleagues.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with our solutions.
Knowledge Sharing and Training:
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IT security technologies.
- Share knowledge and insights with internal teams to enhance our collective expertise and improve our offerings.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on how to effectively utilize and manage our IT security solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equal by experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security.
- Proficiency in networking concepts, security protocols, and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and encryption.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- A strong ability to understand client requirements and effectively articulate the value proposition.
- Experience with leading IT security products and platforms, including Cisco, Fortinet & Palo Alto.
- Relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
