Project Engineer

CES, an engineering office for building services and sustainability, was founded in Asse in 1996 by Bart and Paul Blommaert. Today, the company has expanded to a team of over 70 specialized engineers and experts across four different locations.

CES assists organizations in the fields of sustainability and energy efficiency with the implementation of construction projects, aiming to treat our planet responsibly. We offer integrated consulting, design, and project services for the energy-efficient (re)construction and management of buildings. Our solutions create a sustainable balance between energy efficiency, comfort, and cost control, from design to the selection of materials, with an emphasis on reuse and flexibility.

Our services range from analyzing and modeling the energy performance of buildings to designing and engineering sustainable building solutions. In this way, we position ourselves as a multidisciplinary knowledge company.

In addition to engineering services, we have a team of specialized technicians who ensure that the designed installations are properly installed and commissioned. This guarantees our clients the quality of the installation and optimal performance of the technical systems.

We operate centrally from multiple locations, ensuring a sustainable mobility situation for our employees while being as close as possible to our customers.

As part of our expansion, we are looking for a special techniques engineer in the Leuven/Limburg and Antwerp regions.

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or have completed engineering studies in the field of construction or are at an equivalent level through your professional experience;

• You are sensitive to innovation and rational use of energy;

• You have a passion for sustainable construction and technology development;

• You are driven by the search for innovative, sustainable and perfectly adapted technical solutions; • You are organized, a good listener and have a sense of responsibility;

• You can work just as well in a team as independently when needed;

• You are eager to learn and follow trends and developments in your field;

• You are sociable and commercially minded;

• You are familiar with the processes in the various phases of a project;

• You know how to meet deadlines;

• You have a good knowledge of the MS Office package;

• Knowledge of English, Dutch and French is a plus;

• Knowledge of Autocad/Revit is a plus;

Your responsibilities:

After a period of mentoring and getting used to our working methods, you will :

• Study and execute projects within timelines and budgets set by management;

• Design and dimension technical HVAC, electrical and plumbing installations, working closely with the project manager, design project manager and other engineers;

• Budgeting for the analyzed facilities;

• Coordinate the integration of various special techniques to ensure optimal results;

• Participate in meetings with architects, clients and project managers;

• Supervise the site during the implementation phase;

• Embody the firm's values, image and expertise in the eyes of its partners and clients;

• Maintain relationships with clients, architects and contractors;

• Participate in the internal development of C.E.S.;

• Take technical courses related to your profession.
