About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing innovator in the electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy solutions sector, is seeking a Senior / Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across Belgium.


This is a key position focused on expanding Destination Charging networks - targeting locations such as supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants, and hospitals. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping Belgium’s EV charging landscape, while working in a dynamic, hybrid environment.


📊 Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share across Belgium
  • Identify and engage high-potential commercial partners to deploy EV charging solutions
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, solution design, proposals, and closing deals
  • Define and prioritize acquisition targets in line with business objectives
  • Enrich and manage your prospect database; identify key contacts and decision-makers
  • Drive proactive outreach through email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor offers that meet customer needs


🧠 What You Bring

  • A university degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field
  • A first experience in sales and/or within a start-up or scale-up environment is a plus
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
  • A good command of English is required; mastery of Flemish is a plus
  • Based in or near Brussels, with flexibility to travel as needed across the country
