My client, an EnergyTech start-up, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand their presence in the energy management and EV charging optimisation sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a proven track record in energy tech and optimisation solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure partnerships within the energy management and EV charging sectors.
  • Manage Sales Cycles: Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting and negotiation to deal closure.
  • Client Onboarding & Delivery: Ensure smooth transitions from contract signing to implementation, supporting client success.
  • Account Growth: Build and maintain long-term relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and maximize customer value.
  • Market Insights & Strategy: Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to refining sales strategies and go-to-market approaches.
  • Data-Driven Sales: Use analytics to demonstrate the value of energy optimisation and EV charging solutions to clients.


Requirements

  • Experience: Proven B2B sales experience in energy management, EV charging, cleantech, or a related sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of energy optimisation and EV charging solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Project Oversight: Experience in managing post-sales project delivery and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Analytical Skills: Comfort with using data insights to drive decision-making and support sales efforts.
  • Languages: Fluent in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Mindset: Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach, capable of working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
