Thanks to this upscale & growing business, they're looking to welcome a Human Resources Leader for this Site.
Reporting to the Head HR Europe, the HR Lead Site holds a matrix role withHR Business Partners, in close collaborating with all BU sites, driving the strategy and playing a pirvotal role in setting and implementing the HR strategy.
This position is member of the HR/Leadership Team.
Being the ‘ready-now-successor’ of the HR Director Europe, your responsibilities are:
- Lead the HR Team in the site, guiding the HR & business managers, ensuring the vision is effectively translated into workplace practices;
- Act as management representative / chairperson in consultation bodies (Works Council, CPBW, Trade Union Delegations, …)
- Lead HR functional areas, leverage partnerships with functional leaders to maximise plant performance, lead change & grow talent, ensure team satisfaction, long-term succession, ...
- Leverage partnership with business / functional leaders + act as Manufacturing / Operations Business Partner;
- Ensure strategic workforce planning is in place, ensuring a long-term vision for succession planning, training needs, and talent development;
- Ensure OD to deliver operational strategy & ensure a pay for performance culture;
- Best practices across business & function;
- Act as strategic HR Partner, advise management on organisation decision & policy development, with strong focus on human asset;
- Continuous improvement & act as change agent, initiate & implement enhancements in HR policies & processes, and be Champion of employee engagement;
Operate as Trusted Advisor & Business Partner Management of HR Production / Operations
- Ensure HR programs, processes, policies, and procedures are aligned and communicate to employees & coordinate implementation;
- Continuously improve employee engagement and morale;
- Collaborate with broader HR Organisation, ensure HR programs & processes are in place, communicated & aligned with business objectives, available for implementation …
- Coach and educate on effective team building and people leadership behaviours;
- Facilitates the assessment of individual employee capabilities through talent reviews, interviews and assessment tools and provides, with confidence and candour, developmental coaching and action planning;
- Develop and maintain good industrial / employee relations;

- Master and/or MBA with validated HR experience (>10 y) in an HR Managerial role in industrial environment, demonstrated progressive strategic HR business partnering operational excellence;
- Proven successes in Plant / Manufacturing HR Leadership in fast paced matrix context;
- Broad HR background includes strong focus on employee & organisational development, industrial collective workplace relations, labour law, OD principles, recruitment, training & development, people & change management, …
- In-depth knowledge of labour law & collective agreement;
- Able to manage multiple projects / tasks / teams;
- Has understanding and experience in incentive process, design and implementation;
- Attracting, developing and retaining outstanding talent which represents the available talent pool; developing, growing and retaining talent;
- Personality: inspire & influence others, self-disciplined entrepreneur, initiator and challenger, stress resistant, accurate and critical thinking;
- Fluency in Dutch is a must;
