Project Consultant - Financial Controller

What are your responsibilities?

• Project Management & Delivery - Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring financial accuracy in tenders, budgets, and client reports. Provide continuous contract support and conduct financial reviews with project managers.
• Financial Oversight & Reporting - Maintain financial integrity through regular project performance evaluations, tax compliance reviews, and reporting on contract work in progress and key performance indicators.
• Cash Flow & Billing - Ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and timely invoicing to optimize income receipt and financial stability.
• Audit & Compliance - Lead expenditure verification audits and support adherence to financial procedures, ensuring best practices within the business unit.
• Business Partner Support - Assist finance business partners in implementing financial systems, providing insights at internal contract meetings, and ensuring seamless finance operations.
• Process Improvement & Team Support - Drive efficiency in financial management, contribute to system enhancements, and support overall team functions with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance or similar area
• Strong knowledge and experience in finance procedures and processes
• Experience with expenditure verification audits
• Proficient in Excel and other financial tools
• A team player with an independent and proactive mindset
• Excellent knowledge of French and/or Dutch with a professional knowledge of English
• Client-focused approach
• Continuous learning mindset
