Role Overview:

As a Developer Consultant, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and integration of software applications. You will play a key role in designing scalable software, ensuring security and data protection, and optimizing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications.
• Integrate software components and build reusable code.
• Ensure security and data protection best practices.
• Design and create scalable and high-performance software.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Develop functional front-end code.
• Analyze data, processes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Conduct testing and fix bugs.
• Assist with system integration, deployment, and configuration.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and strong programming experience.
• Experience with Web security, authentication, and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect).
• Strong understanding of key design principles.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and software.
• Expertise in one or more of the following domains:

GIS Development:

• Geospatial data analysis.
• Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Supporting developers interfacing with GIS systems.

Front-End Development:

• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue.js, Typescript, KendoUI).
• Strong CSS skills, including Bootstrap for responsive design.
• Web application security expertise.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful and SOAP web services.

SQL Development:

• Strong SQL skills with Oracle RDBMS.
• Experience in PL/SQL package development.

Back-End Development:

• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages:
• Java (Spring, Struts, Hibernate)
• ColdFusion (FuseBox framework)
• PHP (Symfony, Laravel, Drupal)

Tools & Methodologies:

• Experience with tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, Crucible, Jenkins, Sonar, GitHub.
• Proficiency in Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, PhpStorm IDEs.
• Familiarity with software development standards and best practices.
