About the Role:


The Product Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting HCL Software's revenue and customer growth objectives by acting as a subject matter expert for Appscan. They will focus on new customer acquisition and relationship management.


Responsibilities:


The responsibilities of the Product Sales Specialist include:


  • Serving as a subject matter expert and evangelist, delivering high-quality presentations and workshops to clients, including Developers, Architects, IT managers, and CxOs.
  • Building a new business sales pipeline of high-value accounts to exceed acquisition and output goals.
  • Acting as a complex deal coach and/or executive sponsor on key opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with the sales team to create compelling proposals and solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Working with internal support partners to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the sales process.
  • Developing technical sales capabilities and competencies with HCL Software partners to promote the adoption of Appscan solutions.
  • Presenting and negotiating with Executive Leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Meeting sales targets through a solutions-focused approach, always prioritizing customer needs.
  • Experience of using sales opportunity qualification tools e.g. MEDDPICC, BANT
  • Be able to solution the customer requirements
  • Be able to do a Demo to the customer.


Qualifications:


The Product Sales Specialist should have:


  • 5+ years of sales/pre-sales experience in the enterprise software industry.
  • Experience in selling Security Software solutions.
  • Executive-level selling experience and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for delivering executive-level and value-based presentations.
  • Strong ability to understand and articulate solutions based on the HCL software portfolio.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and developing long-term partnerships.
  • Familiarity with competitive technologies (e.g., Veracode, Checkmarx, Opentext, Qualys ….) and their market positioning.
  • This role requires collaboration with local customers, therefore fluency in the Dutch and English language is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives.
