We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Venues Scouting Manager to lead the identification, negotiation, and management of premier exhibition spaces.


Job Summary:

The Venues Scouting Manager will be responsible for sourcing and securing the best venues for our exhibitions and events. This role requires extensive market research, negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of logistics, budgeting, and event planning. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections and the ability to assess venue suitability based on event requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential venues for exhibitions and trade shows based on event size, target audience, and logistical needs.
  • Conduct site visits and evaluate venues based on accessibility, infrastructure, capacity, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with venue owners and suppliers to secure the best terms.
  • Collaborate with the production and marketing teams to ensure venue suitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venue representatives and industry contacts.
  • Stay updated on emerging venue trends, competitor activities, and new venue openings.
  • Manage venue budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions that align with financial goals.
  • Oversee venue-related risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve venue-related challenges to ensure smooth event execution.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in venue sourcing, event planning, or related roles in the exhibition industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in venue management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to conduct site visits and attend industry events.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
