We are delighted to be supporting our client with their search for an experienced Business Development Manager to support continued business growth across Central Europe.
The role will focus on establishing new and building on existing relationships with Petrochemical/Refinery clients in the region, candidates with experience selling to the Downstream Oil & Gas market are encouraged to apply.
Key Accountabilities
- Techno-commercial and business development activities covering process applications for customers in Central Europe.
- Ensure all contacts and projects are managed appropriately in strict adherence to EHS / ethical & legal standards.
- Key territories of Northern & Central Europe, with a particular focus on the German market.
- Meet regional sales budgets in line with agreed goals.
- Identify key organisations and associated sites and implement a pre-defined sales plan.
- Work with existing TPI network to capitalise on existing relationships as well as fostering new connections via TPI’s.
- Where commercially viable & required, identify and recruit new TPI’s.
- Work closely with internal operational teams to appropriately resource and manage projects.
- Ensure favourable payment and commercial terms as much as is practicable for all projects.
- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process and monthly reporting / forecasting of revenue.
- Act as liaison between commercial, technical, and operational staff during project execution.
- Develop and maintain expertise in all aspects of process diagnostics range of services which include downstream and appreciation of wider diagnostic technologies.
- Carry out face to face and online commercial meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Assist with the development of strong relationships with customers in the region through key account management support.
- Respond to customer technical and commercial enquiries as and when required on a timely basis, including the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- To organize technical workshops / lunch and learns (or similar) with target customers
- Proactively seek information on market services / products and work with relevant regional and HQ colleagues to provide quality service to the customer.
