Junior Human Resources Administrator

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficient day-to-day management, coordination, and follow up of employee administration in close collaboration with the HR Director;
  • Handling administrative tasks related to employee records, payroll processing, and benefits administration;
  • Update employee documentation (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves) promptly and in line with HR standards and procedures;
  • Manage and own pre-employment preparation for new hires and coordination of onboarding. Also, support in offboarding activities;
  • Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HR regulations, and local labor laws;
  • Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures;
  • Support training administration including submission of relevant files;
  • Contribute to other projects and assignments of the HR department, as well as the further automation of HR processes and the optimization of personnel administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Previous experience (in HR administration, recruitment, or payroll is a plus (from entry level to 5 years of experience);
  • Knowledge of social legislation and labor laws and HR regulations;
  • Strong administrative skills; enjoy working with figures and data;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Fluent in Dutch/French with a good working knowledge of French/Dutch and English (both oral and written);
  • Open-minded, a can-do, and positive attitude;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team;
  • Sense of confidentiality and professional integrity.
