Procurement Specialist – Logistics & R&D

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage a diverse indirect purchasing portfolio, including logistics, transportation, and Proto Parts project support. In this role, you will collaborate with Supply Chain Management, R&D teams, and Logistics Engineers to ensure seamless procurement and material availability for key projects.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement activities related to logistics, transportation, warehousing, and customs duties.
• Manage external purchasing for Proto Parts and R&D projects, ensuring timely sourcing and stock management.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers while negotiating pricing, lead times, and contracts.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance supplier relationships for improved efficiency.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, R&D, and Logistics teams to meet project goals.
• Be part of a team of 5 buyers and 4 procurement support professionals.
• Ensure supplier quality and logistical performance align with company standards.

What You Bring:

• 2-3 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• Background in engineering (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Excellent project management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, independent, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and with external suppliers.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
