We have a new position available for a Finance Director France & Benelux (F/M) to support Le Creuset's expansion and ensuring financial stability across the France and Benelux regions.


Main Purpose of the Role

  • Co-pilot, with the Managing Director of Le Creuset France & Benelux and its extended management team, the financial health of the organization as well as the strategic choices made.
  • Works closely with the French & Benelux Financial Controller
  • Provides accurate, timely, and insightful financial knowledge and analysis to maximize business opportunities and subsidiaries results.
  • As a member of the France/Benelux Management Committee, brings ideas and contributes beyond the finance function.
  • Supports financially critical business projects


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnership with Country Management: Collaborate closely with country management to analyze monthly performance and understand the France P&L & local taxation (“liasses fiscales”, compte de résultats..). Challenge operational teams based on KPIs and propose corrective action plans. Validate CAPEX investment opportunities (new stores openings, stand renovations). Conduct ad hoc analyses, including changes in contractual terms with clients.
  • Cost Management : Identify and implement actions to optimize costs
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop reforecasts and the annual budget, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Guide long-term financial strategy.
  • Financial Control : Supervise accounting data during monthly, quaterly and annual financial closings. Establish, monitor, and refine operational and financial processes to ensure organizational efficiency.
  • Reporting : Present monthly financial results to the Executive Committee and during P&L reviews. Analyze variances from the budget across the countries P&L. Manage cash flow forecasts and propose improvements in cash generation (Capex, working capital, including customer invoice collection). Provide specific follow-ups on strategic initiatives and action plans within the countries.
  • Team Management : Lead a team of controllers & accountants, based in several countries (mostly French speakers), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Proposes ERP enhancements and supervises their implementation.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, DESCF/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in senior financial management position, with a strong background in controlling.
  • Deep Taxation Law Knowledge in France (“liasses fiscales”..), Belgium, Luxembourg & the Netherlands.
  • Familiar with IFRS standards.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams, changing and collaborating with senior management as well as matrix teams.
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in times of change.
  • Fluency in French, English and Dutch, with excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI & Microsoft D365.
