Finance Business Analyst with Project Management Skills - Brussels Region, Belgium (Hybrid)

Context & Mission

As part of a major financial transformation project, our client is seeking an experienced Finance Business Analyst with Project Management skills to join the team in charge of the financial integration of a subsidiary. The successful candidate will oversee planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring the smooth integration of financial operations. The role requires both financial expertise and strong project management skills to drive the transformation process.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with finance experts to identify necessary activities for the preparation and implementation of financial integration, planning, coordinating, and monitoring them.
• Carrying out or participating in impact analyses.
• Preparing and supporting accounting operations for financial migration/integration (including general accounting, accounting and reporting of insurance products, and accounting and reporting of investments).
• Preparing and documenting descriptions of new or adapted finance processes.
• Leading and managing the finance stream of the project.
• Coordinating with other stakeholders, such as IT and finance area representatives.

Required Technical Skills

🔹 Project Management – Experienced (Essential)

🔹 Finance and Accounting Knowledge – Strong (Essential)

🔹 Experience in legal and financial integration projects – A plus

🔹 Experience in the insurance sector – A plus

🔹 Analytical Skills – Excellent (Important)

🔹 Communication and Coordination Skills – Strong (Important)

🗣 Language Proficiency

🌍 Fluent in French and English (required)

🌍 Dutch knowledge is a plus

Desired Profile

🎓 Education: Master’s degree in finance, business, or related field

🎯 Experience: Minimum 5 years in finance and project management
