Quality Assurance Intern

We are "Manufacture Belge de Chocolats (MBC)" and we develop tasty, innovative & high-quality chocolates in the heart of Brussels.


We are proud to produce for the Godiva brand, but we are also expanding into the Private Label market and developing our Rosalie's brand.

Your future role as a Quality Assurance Intern:


  • You will support the Food Fraud Plan by updating the risk assessment, reassessing supplier and ingredient vulnerabilities, and ensuring the completion of the Food Fraud Mitigation Plan.


  • You will contribute to the completion of the audit of the Food Defense Program by conducting self-assessments, following up on action plans, and assisting with intrusion testing.


  • You will analyze regulations and internal procedures related to water, packaging, and raw material microbiological specifications to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.


  • You will create and update Quality Assurance (QA) documentation, including HACCP procedures, flowcharts, risk assessments, and checklists.


This scope of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to additional quality-related projects, gaining hands-on experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.



The profile we are looking for:


  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree, preferably related to food science and technology.
  • A previous experience (internship) in the food industry would be a plus.


  • You have knowledge of Quality Management Systems or Standards (such as ISO 9001:2000, BRC, IFS, or FSCC 22000) and food safety.
  • You have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


  • You are fluent in both French and English.
  • You have strong analytical thinking skills.
  • You are methodical and meticulous in your work.
  • You have strong organizational and project management skills.
  • You have the ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve desired results.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
