Inside Sales Representative - Booking Desk

POSITION

As inside sales representative you support the sales and operations team to manage opportunities by sourcing pricing in accordance with the company’s main products. You provide customer quotes. You are responsible for following up on bookings and communicating with customers, agents and suppliers. You have direct communication with customers and seek solutions to any problems. You update offers on a regular basis and closely follow up the purchase rates of the various shipping companies. You keep internal systems up to date with quotes, shipping instructions and relevant data. You are also responsible for informing your colleagues in the departments concerned correctly and on time. In this role, you can learn a lot and eventually grow into a commercial role.

PROFILE

You have completed your studies in logistics or you have already operational knowledge in a freight forwarder role. You deliver excellent service - towards customers and colleagues. You have a pro-active attitude and are always solution-oriented. You are PC Literate and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You speak and write Dutch and English fluent. You like a healthy level of stress in your function and you are willing to work for a business in full expansion.
