A Supply Chain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst is a professional responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting the Supply Chain Management (SCM) module within Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management). This role focuses on improving business processes, integrating supply chain workflows, and ensuring that the system meets organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis
- Work with stakeholders to understand supply chain workflows, pain points, and business requirements.
- Map existing processes and recommend improvements using D365 SCM.
- System Configuration & Implementation
- Configure D365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) settings, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and production.
- Customize workflows and automation within the ERP system to align with business needs.
- Support ERP implementation projects and system rollouts.
- User Support & Training
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Train end-users on supply chain functionalities and best practices.
- Provide troubleshooting and ongoing system support.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting for supply chain activities.
- Utilize Power BI and D365 reporting tools to generate insights on inventory, demand planning, and supplier performance.
- Integration & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure seamless integration with Finance, Warehouse, and Manufacturing modules.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system performance and automation.
- Stay updated on D365 updates and recommend enhancements.
- Core Modules a D365 Supply Chain Functional Analyst Works With:
- Procurement & Sourcing – Vendor management, purchase orders, RFQs.
- Inventory Management – Stock control, warehouse tracking, and replenishment.
- Warehouse Management – Logistics, order fulfillment, and supply chain visibility.
- Production Control – Manufacturing, bill of materials (BOM), and production planning.
- Sales & Demand Forecasting – Order processing, customer demand planning.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 FSCM).
- Knowledge of ERP systems, supply chain processes, and business analysis.
- Ability to configure and customize D365 workflows.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

What do you need to be successful in your mission?
- You have minimum 5 years of experience as Functional Expert on D365 Supply Chain Modules
- Actual experience in configuring SCM modules
- Knowledge and experience implementing those models
- Knowledge of Dual-Write with the ERP D365 FO SCM and CE CRM is an advantage
- You have a broad IT knowledge, and experience with:
- Microsoft products & technologies in general
- Cloud architecture and Microsoft Azure
