Role - Construction Manager

Location - Belgium

A key client of Mint Selection are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a long term contract for one of their flagship projects.

Scope of work:

• Oversee all on-site construction operations, including planning, coordination, and supervision
• Ensure that all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams
• Interface with contractors, consultants, and public authorities to ensure seamless project execution
• Track progress, manage timelines, and report on key milestones and KPIs
• Lead site meetings and contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning
• Resolve technical and logistical challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Support contract management and claims processes where needed

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy-related construction projects
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, offshore/onshore logistics, and HSE standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
• Familiarity with project management and BIM tools is advantageous
• Willingness to travel as required by the project

This role will be an initial 12 month contract with a high probability of extension beyond this point.
