Role - Construction Manager
Location - Belgium
A key client of Mint Selection are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a long term contract for one of their flagship projects.
Scope of work:
- Oversee all on-site construction operations, including planning, coordination, and supervision
- Ensure that all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams
- Interface with contractors, consultants, and public authorities to ensure seamless project execution
- Track progress, manage timelines, and report on key milestones and KPIs
- Lead site meetings and contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning
- Resolve technical and logistical challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Support contract management and claims processes where needed
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy-related construction projects
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, offshore/onshore logistics, and HSE standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
- Familiarity with project management and BIM tools is advantageous
- Willingness to travel as required by the project
This role will be an initial 12 month contract with a high probability of extension beyond this point.
