**Freelance Contract**

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Siemens PLC Programmer (TIA Portal) to work on a freelance/contract basis for an automotive industry project. The role involves programming and optimizing conveyor belt transportation systems used in manufacturing and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, program, and debug Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal for conveyor systems in an automotive production environment.
• Configure and integrate sensors, actuators, and other automation components to ensure efficient conveyor operation.
• Optimize cycle times, logic sequences, and safety interlocks for smooth material flow.
• Conduct on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and modifications as needed.
• Work closely with mechanical engineers, electrical teams, and automation specialists to ensure seamless system integration.
• Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations.
• Provide technical documentation, including PLC code structure, I/O lists, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Siemens TIA Portal PLC programming (Step 7 not required).
• Strong background in automotive industry automation—specifically conveyor belt systems.
• Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFINET, PROFIBUS).
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA integration for conveyor control systems.
• Understanding of robotic systems and interfacing (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work independently as a freelancer and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to be on-site for commissioning and troubleshooting when required.
