Business Leader


PHD Belgium is looking for a Business Leader


PHD Media is a full-service planning & buying agency, part of Omnicom Media Group and located in Zaventem. To accompany our growth and strengthen our team we are looking for a Business Leader.


The Business Leader reports directly into the Managing Director and works closely together with the Business Manager(s) and/or (junior) account executives of his/her cluster.


The Business Leader is responsible for an optimal service delivery to appointed clients, through communication advice, developing and expanding service wherever possible.

The Business Leader delivers high quality and innovative media, communication, and marketing solutions to his / her clients. The solutions provided by the Business Leader will add to the strategic online and offline marketing plans of the client.

The Business Leader is responsible for the profitability of his/her clients by monitoring closely the time spend of all involved team members on the account and optimise processesn and way of work.


The Business Leader can either work in our PHD offices, work from home within the agreed schedule or at the client’s office on specific days of the week.


Deliverables

1. Client Services

  • Maintains and optimizes the relationship with appointed clients.
  • Continuously guarantees an excellent service to the clients (product and service package).
  • Identifies client’s marketing needs and pro-actively acts on these needs by means of consultative selling.
  • Develops and fosters marketing, communication and media strategies and solutions
  • Develop agency point of views (POVs) on media opportunities for submission to the client.
  • Organizes and participates in client meetings internally, at the client’s office and at the creative agency.
  • Utilize and understand proprietary and syndicated research tools used for planning and reporting purposes.
  • Follows the developments in the industry and relevant market segments.
  • Maintains contact and facilitates optimal collaboration between external parties such as media owners, sales houses.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with other departments within PHD / OMG.


Result: satisfied, loyal and profitable clients, that consider PHD as a business partner, which will add value and stimulate business growth.

2. Revenue on client package

  • Adds to a positive revenue of sales of current and new services of PHD.
  • Develops account strategies and plans, in order to ultimately expand the total service package of PHD (products and services).
  • Monitors agreements made with the client.
  • Monitors the deliverables derived from the plans, adjusts (budget) when needed.
  • Is responsible for realizing client targets.
  • Is responsible for performance in regard to the service, profit, fees and billing.
  • Adds to the growth by actively realising new business projects with new and existing clients in regard to online and offline (branded content, Omni tools, research, data & technology).


Result; net revenue, profit, and product growth of the customer package.

3. People Management

  • Is functionally responsible for daily managing and output of Client Teams.
  • Is responsible for and monitors timely progress, optimal production and quality of output and operations.
  • Is responsible for the qualitative output of employees and other resources within the client’s team
  • Shows leadership through communication, transparent feedback and disseminates norms and values of the organisation;
  • Works closely with the other client team members and ensures an optimal and efficient collaboration and distribution of work to attain common goals.


Result: A well-managed and motivated client team, capable of coming up to agreements, goals and tasks all-in order to attain optimal revenue, as agreed upon.
