Tech Lead

We’re looking for a hands-on, technically savvy problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. As our Tech Lead, you’ll sit at the intersection of operations, development and automation — identifying smart, scalable solutions that streamline the way we work.

You’ll take ownership of low-code automations, coordinate with external partners (like our Odoo ERP provider), and lead our Shopify tech setup. From writing lightweight code to managing our Shopify developer, you're the technical glue that keeps it all together.

🔧 Automation & Workflow Optimization

• Design and implement internal automations using low-code tools (Make.com, n8n, etc.)
• Write lightweight scripts (JavaScript, Python, etc.) to bridge gaps where needed
• Continually look for ways to reduce manual work and improve efficiency

🛍️ Shopify Development Oversight

• Manage and support our full-time Shopify developer
• Prioritize development tasks and ensure clean, scalable implementation
• Make smaller Shopify updates yourself using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
• Optimize Shopify Plus setup for performance, conversion, and usability

🔗 ERP & System Coordination

• Act as the bridge between internal teams and our external Odoo partner
• Align business needs with technical solutions and system architecture
• Support smooth data flows between systems (e.g. orders, stock, returns)

🤝 Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with operations, marketing and leadership to scope and execute technical projects
• Translate business goals into actionable technical steps
• Help build a future-ready tech ecosystem that scales with the company

• 🧠 Technically-minded and self-driven — you love solving problems and making things run smoother
• 💡 Strategic thinker with a strong sense for cost-efficiency and scaling smartly
• 🧰 Proficient with low-code/no-code tools (e.g. Make.com, n8n, Zapier)
• 🧑‍💻 Able to write and understand lightweight code (JavaScript, Python)
• 🛍️ Familiar with Shopify & Shopify Plus — and comfortable with theme edits (Liquid, HTML/CSS, JS)
• 📋 Experienced in working with external tech partners (ERP knowledge = a plus)
• 🤝 A clear communicator who can align business needs with technical execution
• 📈 Organized, proactive, and able to lead projects independently
