This Cyber Security Analyst will support departments within PSA Antwerp to achieve cybersecurity goals and ensure alignment with the organization's mission through effective management of people, processes, and technology.
Role:
You will be responsible for:
- Implementing security controls and enforcing security practices within the organization.
- Monitoring routine security administration and disaster recovery plans, identifying abnormalities, reporting violations, and suggesting or making improvements.
- Identifying and following up on information security vulnerabilities through scanning, pentesting, and other assessments.
- Being part of the cyber incident response team, participating in the incident response process, and supporting incident resolution, reporting, and closure.
- Reviewing architecture designs for security posture, including both IT and OT technologies, and working with architects to remediate potential weaknesses.
- Supporting the design and delivery of information security awareness training and campaigns to employees, contractors, and third parties as needed.
- Providing administrative support to investigate security breaches, implementing corrective actions, and conducting post-mortem analysis.
- Coordinating cyber security audit findings and nonconformities.
- Assisting with assessing, testing, and selecting new security products and technologies.
- Providing support to local, regional, and group reporting.
- Supporting PSA Antwerp IT teams in meeting their security responsibilities and compliance.
- Supporting periodic security reviews to ensure compliance with PSA Group IT Security policies and standards.
This role reports to the PSA Antwerp Cyber Security Manager.
Profile:
Education:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline, preferably with one of the following certifications: GSEC, CISSP, CEH, GCFA, GCFE, GCIH or similar (or willing to certify within the next three years))
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the areas of Cyber Security operation and support.
- Proven experience in assessing information systems and handling cybersecurity incident response.
Languages:
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (spoken and written)
Competencies:
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal, and active listening skills.
- Proficient in IT and OT security practices, including access control and system/network protection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
- Skilled at collaborating across all levels to implement security controls and best practices.
