Solutions Architect

Mission Description: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current IT infrastructure while proactively identifying areas for enhancement. Improve workflows by implementing innovative technical solutions. Regularly engage with stakeholders, providing updates on IT development processes and associated costs. Drive process optimization across the organization. Achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives. Continuously assess both existing and emerging technologies. Design and test technical architecture. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and address problem areas. Propose IT solutions to overcome organizational challenges. Develop, review, and refine code. Ensure thorough and up-to-date IT documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve organizational efficiency. Effectively communicate concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, to senior IT management and relevant governance bodies (e.g., steering committee). Support procurement processes and policies; manage and report on project financial performance. Work with team members and third-party vendors to establish, update, and maintain security processes and procedures. Skills: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience delivering successful IT architecture solutions and/or developments. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, networking, storage, security, etc.). Familiarity with Cloud technologies, platforms, and tools (e.g., Azure, Kubernetes, Docker). Proficient in coding languages, scripting, operating systems, and databases, with experience working across various infrastructure platforms. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen interest in developing creative solutions. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact projects. (Preferred) Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Information Security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27*, CIS CSC) and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR) for risk management. Seniority level
