Tax Specialist role overview:

The Tax Specialist will collaborate with various business teams to understand the company's vision and model, crafting comprehensive tax solutions and driving their implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the global tax and finance teams to gather cross-functional input, supporting local finance managers on compliance matters.
  • Oversee transfer pricing policy implementation and ensure defensibility.
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing calculations according to group policy.
  • Assist in preparing and updating transfer pricing documentation, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Monitor corporate income tax developments in all operational countries.
  • Support local finance managers with income tax queries.
  • Assist with local tax audits, including data collection and advisor coordination.
  • Guide and review financial closing processes for income and deferred tax.
  • Support the preparation of Belgian Corporate Income Tax returns.

Required profile for the role as Tax Specialist:

  • Master's or Business School degree in Business or Finance, with a specialization in Tax.
  • 3-5 years in corporate tax/transfer pricing, with at least 3 years in an international setting; strong grasp of Belgian and international tax concepts.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proactive, positive, and detail-oriented with a big-picture mindset.
  • Proven cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Excel; familiar with SAP and BI systems.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, and French; additional languages are a plus
