Technology Planning Expert

We are seeking two highly motivated Technology Planning Experts to join our advanced research and development initiatives. This role will involve close collaboration with our industry development, technology planning, and local R&D teams to identify and analyze key European technological assets. The successful candidates will provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and strengthen our position in emerging technology domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of European technology and research resources, particularly in areas such as 6G, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Cloud and AI, Digital Energy, and next-generation communications technologies.
• Monitor and interpret technological trends and breakthroughs through open-source intelligence and industry engagements.
• Produce clear, logical, and well-structured insight reports that highlight valuable scientific or commercial outcomes.
• Support internal teams by offering informed perspectives on regional innovation landscapes and research frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into global technology planning efforts.

Location: Within BeNeLux and Stockholm areas

Candidate Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related ICT disciplines.
• Proven experience with Horizon Europe or other national research programs in Europe.
• Broad and deep understanding of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), with a strong sense of technological direction and emerging trends in 6G, AI, cloud infrastructure, and digital energy systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
• Demonstrated success in collaborative environments with multicultural and interdisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• Candidates who speak Mandarin would be preferred.
