Triferto is an international wholesaler of mineral fertilizers and is part of a group of agricultural companies owned by the Royal Brokking Group. There are 105 employees in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. Triferto employees have formulated three core values together. With offices in Ghent (Belgium) and Doetinchem (The Netherlands) and over 280.000 tons of warehouse capacity in the Benelux, Triferto markets a high-quality range of fertilizers not only in their core markets Germany, France and Benelux but also in oversea markets with specific focus on markets such as Africa, Middle Americas and Asia. The ideal end customers are midsize to large plantation and forestry's where for example bananas, palm, eucalyptus, or pine are grown. Significant growth is expected in export and you just might be the International Business Development Manager we are looking for to further develop the growth strategy.


Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Growth engine in Triferto’s export business

  • You acquire new customers, driving the expansion of the export business, with a focus on Africa, Middle Americas and Asia.
  • You determine the best business approach (direct or distribution channel) based on region and crop.
  • You develop sales plans and concepts based on customer needs while analyzing international fertilizer and sales markets.
  • You oversee product availability, optimizing sales and supply chain efficiency based on market conditions.
  • You monitor and coach the Export team (technical & sales) based in Ghent, strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, logistics partners, and agronomists.
  • You report to the CCO of Triferto.

Jouw profiel

Commercial and international networker with a passion for agribusiness

Requirements

  • University degree or HBO/College degree in a business, commercial, engineering or a technical field ideally in the agricultural sciences.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in international trade, preferably in the agricultural sector.
  • Fluently in English and optional another language like French and/or Spanish.

 

Competences

You communicate easily at different levels and with different cultures.
You have strong commercial skills preferably within the agribusiness.
You are a self-starter, ambitious and independent.
You have proven leadership and organizational skills.
You are service-oriented and have good instincts that enable you to answer commercial and technical questions together with internal specialists
You have a hands-on mentality.

Location
