Export Sales Specialist

In order to strengthen our Logistics department with additional expertise, we are currently looking for a "Export Sales Specialist" for our office in Antwerp.


Responsibilities

The “Export Sales Specialist” is mainly responsible for arranging and scheduling transportation of equipment while optimizing service and cost for goods / merchandise. This is an individual role, operating in full autonomy for several countries.


  • Manage orders from your clients in the African network : encoding, shipment tracking and invoicing via ERP ;
  • Prepare complex export documentation and ensure equipment has been duly checked on quality and conformity prior to shipping ;
  • Solve import / export issues in close cooperation with customers and sales teams ;
  • Assess duty and tariffs amounts for shipments and ensure that logistics activities comply with the applicable legislation and regulations ;
  • Maintain solid, professional relations with our distributors and importers ;
  • Prepare and analyze sales statistics to support strategic decisions ;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee optimal customer service.


Profile

  • You hold a degree in Logistic, Supply Chain or equivalent by experience ;
  • Previous experience in handling international shipments ;
  • Ability to work in ERP systems and Microsoft based programs, mainly Outlook and Excel ;
  • You're fluent in Dutch or French with strong command of English ;
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, credit letters and transport documentation ;
  • Organized with good time management, multi-tasking ;
  • Good problem solver and ability to deal with complexity ;
  • Deadline oriented and able to work under pressure ;
  • Team player and Cost conscious.
