ST Engineering iDirect – Manufacturing Competence Center - in Erpe-Mere is the technical production unit of the STE iDirect group that is responsible for the production and repair of all its professional satellite communication systems.

Additional to this activity the MCC is also active delivering manufacturing services to a broad portfolio of other customers in industrial, aviation, defense, medical and space markets. The manufacturing plant has been awarded since 2015 as Factory of the Future and has been recognized as a reference in industry ever since.

To support its further growth in contract manufacturing the MCC in Erpe-Mere has a vacancy for a sales support assistant, who is excited to work in a high-tech environment with challenging customers. As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for supporting the customer base and the internal departments with administrative sales operation processes for quoting and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Process technical customer data
• Launch request for quotations and create proposals
• Organize project follow-up meetings
• Be a point of contact for customer request

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn (the large number of software tools) and grow to become an addressable team member
• Proficiency, accuracy, and eye for detail
• A team player with a high level of independency
• Customer friendly and focused attitude
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written)
• Focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Good knowledge of MS-Office tools
• Experience with ERP-systems (SAP) and SalesForce is a plus
